LATITUDE STUDIO is a Barcelona-and-Beijing-based group of Architects, Urban Planners, Designers and Project Managers operating within the field of Architecture and Urbanism.
LATITUDE’s was born from the influence of multicultural exchange, global communications and international synergies. We believe today’s challenges require moving the profession into a field of “Pragmatic Creativity”: a place far from the naive-utopian ideas of digital formalism and more focus on the integration of Architecture into the public debate and therefore Architecture as an extension, and improvement, of the public realm. Current social, technical and ecologic challenges require new ways of Urban, Architectural and Business organization. We apply our analysis to projects which range from Urban design, Commercial, Office and Hospitality facilities, to art exhibition spaces. We have developed special expertise in Mixed-use projects as the key feature of sustainability: social, economic and environmental.
We comfortably work in over different cultures which allow us to reach far beyond our own borders. The office follows every project from its very first conception to its conclusion. They are always developed by the pro-active associations with other professionals and companies. Thus, collaborations and partnerships among individuals and organizations are fostered in order to give a more adequate solution to each particular requirement and client, in any LATITUDE.
